Pioneering Poker in India: In 2008, during a visit to India, Jim noticed the absence of organized poker games in Goa's casinos. Recognizing the potential, he initiated the India Poker Ranking Tour (IPRT), the country's first official poker league, introducing structured poker tournaments and cash games to the Indian audience.
Establishing Jims Poker Room in Sri Lanka: In 2010, Jim launched Jims Poker Room at the Bellagio Casino in Colombo, marking Sri Lanka's first official legal poker venue. In 2015, he relocated the poker room to Casino Marina Colombo, where it continued to offer popular games like Texas Hold'em and Omaha.
